Susan is a British-Japanese actress.  Born in Tokyo, raised in London and Munich, she is trilingual and speaks English, Japanese and German.

- Next performing in "MISSING PEOPLE", a new play by Brad Birch, Co-directed by Mark Rosenblatt and Nobuhiro Nishikawa , (Leeds Playhouse & Kani Public Arts Theater, Japan). Opens in the New National Theater, Tokyo in February 2020 and will run in the Kani Public Arts Centre and the Leeds Playhouse in Spring 2020.



Susan was nominated for Best Actress at LA's Asian on Film Festival for her performance in "Shino's Show".

She is the voice of Yuki Yamazaki in the game "Hitman".  She has also voiced various Dr Who episodes.

On stage, Susan performs in classical and modern roles as well as devised physical pieces and puppetry. She has worked for companies including:
- Royal Shakespeare Company (Wendy & Peter Pan, A Life of Galileo, Orphan of Zhao, Boris Godunov)
- The Shakespeare's Globe (A Midsummer Night's Dream)
- New National Theatre Tokyo (Dorian Gray).
- Associate artist of physical theatre ensemble Tangled Feet.

Susan also translates plays, having worked as literal translator on:
- Simon Stephen's "The Threepenny Opera" (National Theatre, 2016) 
- Bruce Norris's "The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui" (Donmar Warehouse, 2017).
